Huppert supports campaign to save lives

Julian has given his support to raise awareness of hospital acquired thrombosis which claims the lives of around 25,000 people each year.

MP learns first-hand challenges facing blind people
June 22, 2010MP Julian Huppert has been given the chance to find out first-hand the everyday challenges faced by blind and partially sighted people.
Julian met with RNIB representatives at a parliamentary reception and was asked to wear a blindfold to carry out some everyday tasks, like making a cup of tea and using a cash machine within kitchen and bank areas that had been set up in the House of Commons.
