Huppert supports campaign to save lives

A campaign to help raise awareness of a killer condition contracted in hospital has been backed by Cambridge MP Julian Huppert.
 
Julian has given his support to raise awareness of hospital acquired thrombosis which claims the lives of around 25,000 people each year.

Huppert tackles Prime Minister over Trident

Government to cost restorative justice after Huppert's call

Government officials are to work out the financial benefits of their restorative justice programme after a call from Cambridge MP Julian Huppert.
 
Crispin Blunt, Under-Secretary of State for Justice, said that the work would be carried out after Julian raised the issue in a written Parliamentary Question.

MP learns first-hand challenges facing blind people

MP Julian Huppert has been given the chance to find out first-hand the everyday challenges faced by blind and partially sighted people.
 
Julian met with RNIB representatives at a parliamentary reception and was asked to wear a blindfold to carry out some everyday tasks, like making a cup of tea and using a cash machine within kitchen and bank areas that had been set up in the House of Commons.
