Huppert backs fund-raiser for Marines in Afghanistan

Cambridge MP Julian Huppert is backing a fund-raising campaign to support Royal Marines in Afghanistan.
 
Julian has donated to the campaign which raises money for the injured Marines of 40 Commando and their families and he is urging other Cambridge residents to give their support.

A government plan to rid Britain’s streets of “clutter” has been backed by MP Julian Huppert and Cambridge City Council Leader, Sian Reid.
 
Councils are being urged to remove unnecessary signs, railings and advertising hoardings to make streets tidier and less confusing for motorists and pedestrians.

Huppert visits Body Shop to support campaign against trafficking

An international campaign against child trafficking has been supported by MP Julian Huppert during a visit to Cambridge’s Body Shop yesterday (Wednesday, August 4).
 
The Body Shop has joined forces with ECPAT UK to launch the three year global campaign and petition to stop the trafficking of children and young people and bring about long-term change.
